A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO SIGN AN AGREEMENT WITH THE
WASHINGTON STATE LIBRARIAN, THE WASHINGTON
STATE HISTORIC PRESERVATION OFFICER, AND
THE ADVISORY COUNCIL ON HISTORIC PRESERVATION
BE IT RESOLVED, that:
The Mayor is here and hereby authorized and directed to
execute the annexed MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT REGARDING THE
PORT TOWNSEND, WASHINGTON PUBLIC LIBRARY EXPANSION PROJECT
concurring with the agreement reached between the Washington
State Librarian, the Washington State Historic Preservation
Officer, and the federal Advisory Council on Historic Preser-
vation stipulating procedures and conditions which must be
followed in consideration of the disposition of the structure
at 1256 Lawrence Street.
