A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT IN CONNECTION WITH AN
APPLICATION TO VACATE FIFTY-FOURTH STREET WITHIN
THE CITY
WHEREAS, the City of Port Townsend desires to vacate a portion
of Fifty-Fourth Street located adjacent to its sewage treatment
plant within the City of Port Townsend, and
WHEREAS, the abutting owner, Alena Martin, and the City of
Port Townsend desire to enter into an Agreement under which Martin
would join in the application and agree to the same upon certain
undertakings to be performed in the future by the City, now, there-
fore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council for the City of Port Town-
send that the Mayor be and is hereby authorized and directed to
execute on behalf of the City of Port Townsend an Agreement sub-
stantially in the form attached hereto between the City of Port
Townsend and Alena Martin, subject to final approval by the City's
Public Works Director and the City Attorney.
PASSED by the City Council for the City of Port Townsend and
