A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PORT TOWNSEND APPROVING THE SCOPE OF WORK
AND BUDGET FOR CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING SERVICES
FOR SECONDARY WASTEWATERTREATMENT PLANT
BE IT RESOLVED, that:
The Mayor is here and hereby authorized and directed to submit the
scope of work and budget proposed by CH2M HILL NORTHWEST, INC. for
construction engineering services for the secondary wastewater
treatment plant to the Washington State Department of Ecology for
approval.
In addition to submit to Ecology for approval AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO
AGREEMENT TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES between CH2M HILL NORTHWEST,
INC.and CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND for DETAILED ENGINEERING DESIGN OF
THE SECONDARY WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT. Upon Ecology approval
and receipt of a pre-authorization of grant funding, the Mayor
shall execute the AMENDMENT NO. 1 and authorize CH2M HILL
NORTHWEST, INC. to perform tasks No. 1, 2, and 3 in accordance with
Amendment No. 1.
