A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY oF PORT TOWNSEND SUPPORTING RULE
CHANGES REGARDING URBAN/FOREST TRANSITION
WHEREAS, many urban/forest transition areas
boundaries of cities and towns, and
are within the
WHEREAS, in certain areas, forest practices activities are likely
to have offsite impacts on public capital improvements, and,
WHEREAS, local governments need to be able to provide comments on
certain proposed activities prior to the Department of Natural
Resources conditioning the application, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that:
the Port Townsend City Council go on record in favor of Washington
Administrative Code 222 rule changes as proposed by the Department
of Natural Resources.
