A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE CONTRACTS WITH JEFFERSON
COUNTY ON BEHALF OF THE CITY FOR VARIOUS
SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City of Port Townsend has contracted with Jeffer-
son County in the past for various services to be proVided-to the
City and the citizens thereof hy the County and the County's per-
sonnel and facilities, and
WHEREAS, the City desires to further contract with Jefferson
County for the continued provision of certain services by the
County to the City and the citizens of the City of Port Townsend,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Port Townsend pre-
viously approved the execution of certain contracts with the County
by Resolution, which contracts have subsequently been amended, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Port Townsend desires
to authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute contracts with the
County for various services, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council for the City of Port Town-
send that the Mayor and the City Clerk of the City of Port Townsend
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf
of the City contracts substantially in the form attached hereto and
made a part of this Resolution as if set forth in full, identified
more particularly as follows:
EXHIBIT A - Contract for Juvenile Diversion Program
EXHIBIT B -- Contract for Youth Recreation Program
EXHIBIT C - Agreement for Municipal Court Services
EXHIBIT D - Contract for Professional Service Agreement (A1-
cohol~a~d/Drug Services)
EXHIBIT E -- Contract for Professional Service Agreement
(Health Services)
EXHIBIT F -- Addendum to Interlocal Jail Contract (amendment re
dispatch services).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following Resolutions are here
and hereby repealed and rescinded: Resolution 90-44; Resolution
90-31; Resolution 90-32; Resolution 90-35; Resolution 90-33; and
Resolutinn 99=34.
RESOLUTION - 1 -
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to make payments on behalf of the
City and issue the City's warrants for payment for services pur-
suant to the terms and conditions of said contracts, for 1990,
and throughout the term of each contract provided that funds are
budgeted and appropriated therefor in such subsequent years.
Passed by the City Council for the City of Port Townsend and
approved and signed by the Mayor this ,%~ day of July, 1990.
