A RESOLUTION authorizing a contract for
consulting services with Stastny & Burke
Architecture, P.C., for urban design, design
guidelines and design graphics that will aid
in the production of a specific development
plan for the Port Townsend Urban Waterfront
Project.
on June 5, 1990, the City Council passed Ordinance
2192, enacting interim controls for future development
of the Port Townsend Urban Waterfront; and
WtIEREAS,
the Joint Urban Waterfront Plan Committee
selected the Tsang Partnership, Inc.
following an open, competitive process, to
provide design, planning and design graphics;
and
the agreement between the Tsang Partnership
and the City of Port Townsend has been
terminated; and
Stastny & Burke Architecture, P.C., had
originally applied to provide assistance with
design and design graphics; and
the firm of Stastny & Burke Architecture,
P.C., has been selected as the most
appropriate firm to perform the required
design and design graphic support; Now,
Therefore,

that the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement
for services with Stastny & Burke Architecture P.C. substantially
in the form of the agreement attached hereto as Attachment A.
BE IT FUR~t{ERIIESOLVEI) that any actions taken pursuant to the
authorization of this resolution but prior to its adoption are
hereby ratified and confirmed.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend and
