A RESOLUTION authorizing application
for Centennial Clean Water Fund FY
91 Funding Cycle from the Washington
State Department of Ecology's Water
Quality Financial Assistance
Program.
WHEREAS,
The City of Port Townsend proposes
to expand the existing wastewater
treatment plant facilities to
provide secondary treatment; and
WHEREAS,
the Department of Ecology has
directed the proposed expansion of
the wastewater treatment plant; and
the office of Water Quality Financial
Assistance of the State Department
of Ecology has requested proposals
for grant assistance for the full
amount of the expansion project,
N o w , T h e r e f o r e ,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
that the Mayor is hereby authorized to make ~pplication to the
Department of Ecology for grant assistance for this project
resulting in the expansion of the wastewater treatment plant to
provide secondary treatment.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend and
approved by the Mayor this ~9TM day of F~ R0~ , 1991
