A RESOLUTION authorizing application
for Centennial Clean Water Fund FY
91 Funding Cycle from the Washington
State Department of Ecology's Water
Quality Financial Assistance Program.
WHEREAS,
The City of Port Townsend proposes to
develop a sludge study to quantify volumes,
quality, and the possibility of a joint
project for ultimate disposal through a
City project or Contractor project; and,
WHEREAS,
The office of Water Quality Financial
Assistance of the State Department of
Ecology has requested proposals for grant
assistance for such projects,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT
TOWNSEND that the Mayor is hereby authorized to make application to
the Department of Ecology for grant assistance for this project
resulting in a study to design the mixing, storing and handling
system for the utilization of sludge from the new secondary
treatment plant.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend and
