A RESOLUTION authorizing the C~ty of
Port Townsend to enter into Amendment No. 4
to an earlier agreement for professional
services with CH2M Hill.
WHEREAS,
The City of Port Townsend proposes to
add engineering services for the design
of storm drain~ ~mp~ved~nts to Washington
Street based on preliminary designs; and,
WHEREAS,
The City of Port Townsend desires CH2M Hill to
add engineering services to provide plans,
specifications, and estimates for the street
and storm drainage improvements based on the
preliminary design of these improvements
performed under Amendment No. 3 of this
contract; and,
WHEREAS,
The City of Port Townsend estimates that
total compensation by the City to CH2M Hill
for services provided under Amendment No. 4
is $96,000 which may not be exceeded without
a formal amendment to the original agreement.
N O W , T H E R E F O R E,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
that the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into this supplemental
agreement with CH2M Hill and to direct the Public Works Director to
make arrangements with CH2M Hill to proceed with this project.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend and
