TOWNSEND, ADOPTING COMPREHENSIVE PARKS & RECREATION PLAN
WHEREAS, the City of Port Townsend finds a need to develop park and
recreation facilities that are responsive to the needs and
interests of the City of Port Townsend residents, and
WHEREAS, the city of Port Townsend desires to develop a budget for
Parks and recreation facilities which provides adequate and
realistic funding for operation and maintenance and future
acquisition, and
WHEREAS, the City of Port Townsend wishes to develop long range
planning for parks and recreation projects,
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of
Port Townsend adopt the Comprehensive Parks & Recreation Plan as
prepared and submitted by the Parks and Recreation Commission and
the Parks and Properties Committee.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend and signed
by the Mayor this /9~ day of ~~ , 1991.
