A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT
WITH PACIFIC k~TLAND NURSERY TO DEVELOP A RESTORA-
TION PLAN FOR A PORTION OF A CITY SE~,~RLINE RIGHT-
OF-WAY
WHEREAS, the City desires to restore vegetation within a re-
cently cleared right-of-way, approximately 90 feet in width and ap-
proximately 4,000 feet in length, which is part of the sewerline
right-of-way and improvements commonly known as the Seaview Area
Sewer made as a part of Sewer Local Improvement District No. 1, and
WHEREAS, Pacific Wetland Nursery is oualified and capable to
provide services to develop a restoration plan for the work, now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council for the City of Port Town-
send that the Public Works Director, Mayor and Attorney for the City
are here and hereby authorized and directed to negotiate a Contract
on behalf of the City between the City and Pacific Wetland Nursery,
for performance of the work, in substantially the form attached
hereto as Exhibits A and B which are by this reference incorporated
herein as if set forth in full, with such changes as the Public
Works Director, Mayor and Attorney for the City deem necessary or
appropriate in the interests of the City, provided, however, that
the performance of the work as set forth shall be for a maximum fee
not to exceed $ ~/~D
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk, upon execution of
said Contract, is authorized to execute the City's warrant or war-
rants in payment of the Contract sum, in accordance with the term
of the Contract.
