A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT
· OWNSEND, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN AN AGREENENT
WITH ADELMA BEACH AREA RESIDENTS APPROVING CONSTRUCTION
OF A NEW 8" WATER LINE.
WHEREAS, The Adelma Beach area is within the City of Port Townsend
service area, and
WHEREAS, the area is presently served by a 2" spaghetti line which
does not provide adequate water for the area, and
WHEREAS, the residents of the area propose to construct a new 8"
water line, and
WHEREAS, the City Water and Sewer Committee have met on this issue
and recommend the construction of the new line,
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of
Port Townsend that it authorizes the Mayor to sign a contractual
agreement with area residents to construct a new 8" water line.
