A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF LAKESIDE IN-
DUSTRIES FOR WORK TO BE DONE TO FIFTY-SEVENTH
STREET AS PART OF LID #2; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT; AND AUTH-
ORIZING THE CLERK-TREASURER TO DISBURSE FUNDS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Port Townsend previ-
ously established LID #2 for certain improvements and betterments
to be made to Fifty-Seventh Street within the City, and
WHEREAS, the City requested bids for the work to be performed
to make the improvements to the said street, and
WHEREAS, Lakeside Industries has submitted the lowest respon-
sible bid, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port Town-
send that
1. The bid of Lakeside Industries in the amount of
is hereby accepted;
2. The Mayor and City Clerk of the City are here and hereby
authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City a contract
with Lakeside Industries to perform the work in accordance with the
Bid Request and Proposal; and
3. The City Clerk-Treasurer is here and hereby authorized to
disburse funds and issue the City's warrant or warrants for payment
of the work in conformance with the contract.
Passed by the City Council for the City of Port Townsend and
signed by the Mayor of the City this 2nd day of July, 1991.
