AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN AN AGREEMENT WITH JEFFERSON
COUNTY TO WORK COOPERATIVELY ON THE STREETS TIP.
WHEREAS,
The City Council has authorized the Mayor to sign
the Addendum to the 1991 Streets Tip, and
WHEREAS,
The Addendum would'allow for the repair and
reconstrUction of City streets, and
WHEREAS, Jefferson County has the appropriate equipment to do
these repairs and reconstruction, and
WHEREAS,
The City wishes to contract with Jefferson County to
do a majority of the work up to a maximum amount of
$144,700.00, as outlined in Exhibit B of the
Interlocal Agreement attached herein,
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council of the
City of Port Townsend authorizes the Mayor to sign this
agreement with Jefferson CouDty and to direct the Public Works
Director to make arrangements with Jefferson Country for
street work as outlined in the Addendum to the 1991 TIP.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Port-Townsend and
signed by the Mayor this 91.
