A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ~NSEND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR ~3 SIGN A CONTRACT AGREEMENT WITH
ECONOmiC AND ENGI~ERING SERVICES, INC. TO ~ RATE STUDY
SERVICES.
WHEREAS,
The City Council previously directed Economics and
Engineering Services, Inc. to conduct a Rate Study for
Water and Wastewater and develop documentation and
procedure to establish System Development Charges; and
These services have been provided and additional
services are requested bythe City, including assistance
with development of Capital Development Plan for Water,
Wastewater, Stormwater, Streets and Parks, development of
system of "fees and charges", development of utility
data, information system and new City policy
recommendation to meet new regulatory requirements, and
evaluation of Chelan Agreement and Growth Management Act
issues impacting the City's utility financing program;
WHEREAS, City staff will be working closely with EES to accomplish
the above tasks,
N O W T H E R E F O R E
Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend
that it authorizes the Mayor to sign a contract agreement with
Economic and Engineering Services, Inc. to extend the present
contract.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend and signed
by the Mayor this I1 ~ day of O~c~, 1991.
