A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OFPORTTOWNSEND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A CONTRACT AGREEMEk~ WITH
ECONOMIC ANDENGINEERING SERVICES, INC. FOR SERVICES~TED
TO WETLANDS ISSUES.
WHEREAS, the City of Port Townsend is required by the State
of Washington Growth Management Act to identify local wetlands
and prepare ordinances to protect same; and
WHEREAS, the City of Port Townsend anticipates that wetlands
services will also be required with regards to other short
term projects as Stormwater Master Planning, the Golf Course
Pond, the Cline Graham property and other development
projects; and
WHEREAS, the City has advertised appropriately for Statements
of Qualification from interested firms and has interviewed
several candidates, deciding among them on Economics and
Engineering Services, Inc.,
N O W T H E R E F O R E
Be it resolved that the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend does hereby request the Mayor to sign a contract
agreement with Economic and Engineering Services, Inc.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend and
