A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A PROCEDURE FOR SELECTING
CONTRACTORS FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
W}IEREAS, the City Council for the City of Port Townsend ~esires
to utilize the provisions of RCW 39.80 for the selection of not only
contractors for the provision of engineering and architectural serv-
ices, but also for the ~ontracting for other professional services
which are otherwise exempt from bid requirements, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port Town-
send that the City shall utilize the procedures set forth in RCW
39.80 as now or herafter amended, for the selection of and contract-
ing with persons or entities for the provision of professional
services, including but not limited to architectural and engineering
services, for the City of Port Townsend. A copy of RCW 39.80 is
attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein as if set
forth in full.
Passed by the City Council for the City of Port Townsend and
signed and approved by the Mayor of the City this 77 ~ day of
