A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY CO~3NCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO DIRECT THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT TO
ADVERTISE AND ESTABLISH A LIST OF QUALIFIED CONSULTANTS.
WHEREAS, The City occasionally has need for consulting services
and expertise in addition to staff resources; and
WHEREAS, The City is required by law to advertise for Requests for
Qualifications for each consulting service needed; and
WHEREAS, The City desires to conform with the standards of the law
while conserving staff time and advertising resources by
establishing a roster of qualified consultants,
N 0 W T H E R E F O R E
Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend
that it authorizes the Mayor to direct the PUblic Works Department
to advertise appropriately and establish a roster of qualified
consultants.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend and signed
