POLARIS ENGINEERING FOR A GIS ENGINEERING SURVEY.
The City of Port Townsend continues to develop GIS
mapping of the city; and
It is necessary for the City to survey for horizontal and
vertical control in order to tie existing City mapping
into the Washington State Plane Coordinate System; and
The City does not currently have the ability to do this
work with existing staff and equipment,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
that it authorizes the Mayor to sign a contract with Polaris
Engineering for this engineering survey, cost not to exceed
$18,000.
