A RESOLLrrION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN
AGREEMENT WITH THE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SEXUAL ASSAULT
PROGRAM RELATING TO THE PROVIDING OF PARTIAL FUNDING FOR
THE PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the City Council has provided for partial funding of the Domestic Violence
Sexual Assault Program in the City's adopted budget; and
WHEREAS, the Domestic Violence Sexual Assault Program provides necessary and
desirable services to the City of Port Townsend; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires that the relationship between the Domestic Violence
Sexual Assault Program and the City be formalized through an Agreement; Now, therefore
BE 1T RESOLVED'BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF PORT
TOWNSEND:
The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute an Agreement with the Domestic Violence
Sexual Assault Program in substantially the form as the agreement attached hereto.
