A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A CONTRACT AGREEMENT WITH DAVID
VALBRACHT, ASLA FOR LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES FOR THE
WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITY.
WHEREAS, The City is expanding the Wastewater Treatment Plant as required by the
Washington State Department of Ecology, and restoration of the landscape
surrounding the facility and the Chinese Gardens is required as part of the
expansion project; and
WHEREAS, Grant monies have been obtained for use in the landscaping and work has
progressed to the point where landscaping is appropriate;
WHEREAS, A Landscaping Committee has been working during the past months to develop
an appropriate landscaping plan;
N O W T H E R E F O R E
Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend that it authorizes the Mayor to
sign a contract agreement with David Valbracht, ASLA for landscaping architectural services for
the Wastewater Treatment Facility, in substantially the form as presented here.
Adopted by the City Council of the C~and signed by the Mayor this 15th
day of March, 1993.
