RESOLUTION NO. 93-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT
TOWNSEND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO AWARD A BID FOR A
WATER QUALITY/TREATMENT UTILITY VEHICLE PURCHASE.
The City has received notification from the State Department of Health that the
City can avoid filtration at this time and that avoidance is contingent upon many
follow-through action items, including a watershed control program; and
The Department of Health has issued a compliance schedule to the City related to
meeting these criteria; and
The City has been working on a watershed control program and has now hired a
staff member, who will require use of a vehicle which the City does not have
available, to implement that program; and
The City has advertised and received bids for this utility vehicle in a fair and
timely fashion,
N O W T H E R E F O R E
Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend that it authorizes the Mayor to
award a bid for a Water Quality/Treatment vehicle purchase.
