A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT
TOWNSEND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A CONTRACT
AGREEMENT WITH HINER CARSON ARCHITECTS FOR ARCHITECTURAL
DESIGN SERVICES.
WHEREAS,
WHEREAS,
Funds have been allocated in the 1993 budget fQr
professional services including Pope Marine Building
architectural design services; and
Renovation of the Pope Maine Building has been identified
as a priority for creating more public meeting space,
preserving historical landmarks and completing City Dock
facilities; and
WHEREAS,
Hiner Carson has demonstrated their quality of work,
familiarity and commitment to servicing Port Townsend
needs; and
WHEREAS,
Hiner Carson Architects have distinguished themselves as
competent, local design professionals in work performed
for the City in the past, able to respond to the City's
needs in a timely manner, and have been selected from our
Professional Services Roster in accordance with RCW
39.80,
N O W T H E R E F O R E
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
that it authorizes the Mayor to sign this contract agreement for
architectural and design services for the Pope Marine Building
with Hiner Carson Architects, Inc., not to exceed the sum of
$4,000.
Adopted by the City Council of th~.~-~y of Port Townsend and signed
by the Mayor this 3rd day of M~, 19~.~
