A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A CONTRACT
AGREEMENT WITH TOWNSEND BUILDERS, INC. FOR HALLER
FOUNTAIN BASIN RECONSTRUCTION.
WHEREAS, The City Council has authorized $12,000 and the Kiwanis Club of Port Townsend
contributed $3000 for the reconstruction of the Hailer Fountain basin; and
WHEREAS, Quotes have been obtained from three contractors in accordance with State law and
City Ordinances; and
WHEREAS, Townsend Builders provided a low, responsive quote of $14,121.80, including
sales tax, and can perform the work prior to the planned fountain rededication
September 6, 1993; and
N O W T H E R E F O R E
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND that
it authorizes the Mayor to sign this contract agreement for Hailer Fountain basin reconstruction
with Townsend Builders, Inc. Adopted by the City Co~.=,~ of the City of Port Townsend and
signed by the Mayor this 19th day of July, 199~d ~ hn~
