A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PORT TOWNSEND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
ADVERTISE THE BID FOR SUPPLYING WETLAND
PLANTS AND PLANTING OF THE CONSTRUCTED
WETLANDS AT THE BIOSOLIDS COMPOSTING
FACILITY
WHEREAS, The City is constructing a Biosolids Composting Facility as required by the
Washington State Department of Ecology; and
WHEREAS, The project includes constructing wetlands, which needs to be planted with
wetland plants; and
WHEREAS, The project includes money budgeted for this wetlands construction, plants
and planting; and
WHEREAS, The City has used the appropriate bidding process, obtaining bids to meet
this schedule;
NOW THEREFORE
Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend that it authorizes the
Mayor to advertise the bid for supplying and planting of wetland plants at the Biosolids
Composting Facility.
