A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PORT TOWNSEND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
SIGN AN EASEMENT AGREEMENT WITH PUGET POWER
TO LOCATE AN UNDERGROUND ELECTRIC SYSTEM IN
THE CALHOUN STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY.
WHEREAS,
Puget Power has requested a perpetual easement under, across and
over the following described real property:
That portion of the northeast quarter of Section 11, Township 30
North, Range 1 West, W.M., Jefferson County, Washington. Further
described as lying within platted Calhoun Street south of Water
Street lying between Lot 2, Block 17 and Lot 8, Block 16, of the
Plat of the Town of Port Townsend, recorded in Volume 1, page 1
of Plats, records of Jefferson County, Washington. The specific
easement area lies within the northerly 25 feet of the easterly
25 feet of the above described property; and
WHEREAS,
The proposed underground electrical system to be installed in the
subject easement will facilitate the undergrounding of utility
wires as required in the conditions of the Bayvista II
conditional use permit #9203-08.
NOw Therefore,
The City Council does hereby authorize the Mayor to sign the
subject easement referenced as Easement No. 9305300 NJ.
Passed by the City Council of t~of/Port Townsend and
approved by the Mayor this 20~ day of~S~ptember, 1993.
