A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PORT TOWNSEND AUTHORIZING A TOURISM
PROMOTION AGREEMENT WITH THE RHODODENDRON
FESTIVAL COMMITTEE
BE IT RESOLVED, that:
The Mayor is here and 'hereby authorized and directed to
execute the annexed TOURISM PROMOTION AGREEMENT with the
Rhododendron Festival Committee for transport of the float and
royalty to parades in other cities throughout Washington and
promote the attributes of our community during the calendar year of
1993 for reimbursement
not to exceed $1,000.

TOURISM PROMOTION AGREEMENT
This AGREEMENT is made this XO ~ day of October, 1993, by and
between the City of Port Townsend, a municipal corporation
(hereafter referred to as "the City") and the Rhododendron Festival
Committee, a non-profit corporation (hereafter referred to as "the
Committee"), WITNESSETH:
As part of the Tourism Promotion Program of the City, the Committee
agrees to':
1. Transport the Rhododendron Festival Float and royalty to
parades in other cities throughout Washington State.
2. Promote the attributes of our community and invite people
from other communities to come to Port Townsend throughout the
calendar year of 1993.
The City will make progress payments to the Committee up to a
cumulative total of ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($1,000.00) based upon
proof of performance submitted by the Committee in consideration of
said performance.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties, by their authorized agents have
hereunto set their hands this A6~ day~October, 1993.
