W]~RRANTS NECESS]I~RY TO COMPLETE THE PURCHASE OF REAL
PROPERTY FROM CITIFOR; INC.; PURSUANT TO AN ~GREEHEHT
~UTHORIZED BY RESOLUTION 93-40°
Whereas,
The City Council, on April 5, 1993, adopted Resolution
93-40, which authorized the Mayor to sign an agreement
with Citifor,- Inc., regarding the purchase bythe City of
real property owned by Citifor, Inc., for $70,000; and
Whereas;
Pursuant to said resolution, the Mayor and Citifor, Inc.,
have signed a real estate sale and purchase agreement,
which is now in escrow; and
Whereas,
In order to complete the transaction contemplated bythe
agreement, it is necessary for the Clerk/Treasurer to
issue warrants for the payments specified in the
agreement;
N O W T H E R E F O R E
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
that it authorizes the Clerk/Treasurer to issue the warrants
necessary to complete the purchase of real property from Citifor,
Inc., for a purchase price of $70,000, in accordance with the terms
and conditions of the agreement authorized by Resolution 93-40.
Adopted by the City Council of the ~~f Port Townsend and signed
