A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COU~'C~L OF THE CITY OF PORT
TOWNSEND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A CONTP.,~CT
AWARDING THE BID FOR CI-ILORLNE GAS TO BE USED BY THE
WATER QUALITY DEPARTMENT FOR 1994 TO JONES CHEMICAL.
WHEREAS,
WHEREAS,
'vVI-IEREAS.
The City of Port Townsend requires necessary, services and products for the year
1994; and
The City's current contract for these products and services expire December 31,
1993; and
The City. has advertised for bids for .:hese produc:s in a fair and rime!v manner
and has found Jones Chemical to be the lowest, responsive bidder.
NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City, of Port Townsend does hereby request the
Mayor to sign a contract agreement with Jones Chemical for chlorine gas for 1994.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City. of Port Townsend and signed by the Mayor this 7th
day of February, 1994.
