RESOLUTION 94- ~'
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT
TOWNSEND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN AN AMENDMENT
TO THE AGREEMENT WITH CH2M HILL FOR ENGINEERING
SERVICES DURING CONSTRUCTION FOR THE CHLORINE CONTACT
WATER STANDPIPE AND CHLORINE CONTACT FACILITIES AND
PIPELINE.
WHEREAS, The City negotiated a contract with CH2M HILL for engineering services for the
design of the standpipe facilities for the City; and
WHEREAS, It is the City's intent to continue with CH2M HILL for construction phase
services for these projects; and
The City has budgeted monies within the 1994 CIP for this project and has
conformed with the standards of the law by establishing a roster of qualified
consultants; and
WHEREAS,
The City has investigated the qualifications of CH2M HILL and finds that they
are qualified to perform the services required, and has found their past services
to the City to be satisfactory and has negotiated this proposed contract,
NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend that it authorizes the
Mayor to sign an agreement with CH2M HILL for construction phase services for the standpipe
and related services.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City o~signed by the Mayor this
22nd day of February, 1994.
