A RESOLUTION-OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT
TOWNSEND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A CONSERVATION
GRANT AGREEMENT WITH PUGET POWER FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO THE
INSULATION OF POPE MARINE BUILDING. ~
WHEREAS
Funds have been allocated in the 1993-1994 budget for
renovating the Pope Marine Building; and
WHEREAS,
WHEREAS,
Puget Power has been working cooperatively with the City
to assist in making the renovation as energy efficient as
possible; and
Puget Power has determined that a grant of as much as
$2,691.12 may be made available for applicable
installations of insulating building materials,
N O W T It E R E F O R E
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
that it authorizes the Mayor to sign a conservation grant agreement
in substantial form as the attached Puget Power Agreement No. 6-
05931-0 for conservation measures including roof, floor and wall
insulation.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend and signed
by the Mayor this 7th day of March, 1994.
