A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT
TOWNSEND DECLARING PRESTIGE PROPERTIES, INC. TO BE THE
LOWEST, RESPONSIVE, RESPONSIBLE BIDDER FOR A
pREFABRICATED SERVICE BUILDING AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO SIGN A CONTRACT AWARDING THE BID TO PRESTIGE
PROPERTIES, INC. OF PORT HADLOCK, WASHINGTON.
WHEREAS,
The City has advertised and received bids for supply, delivery and set up of a
prefabricated mobile service building; and
Bids were received in a fair and timely fashion, in accordance with City and State
bidding laws; and
The City has found Prestige Properties, Inc. to be the lowest, responsive,
responsible bidder; and
The City will need to purchase additional appliances to make the building
complete, and Prestige Properties, Inc. offered to provide a refrigerator, range,
and dishwasher at their cost of $775.00 plus tax,
NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend as follows:
SECTION 1:
The bid submitted by Prestige Properties, Inc. for the supply, delivery and set up of a
prefabricated, mobile service building is .hereby accepted and Prestige Properties, Inc. is
declared to be the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder on the project.
SECTION 2:
The contract for supply, delivery and set up of the prefabricated, mobile service building
including the additional appliances (refrigerator, range, and dishwasher) is hereby awarded to
Prestige Properties, Inc. in the mount of $41,987.50 plus sales tax, subject to Prestige
Properties' signature of the contract and posting of an acceptable performance bond, payment
bond, insurance certificates and all other documentation required by the contract documents and
by law.
SECTION 3:
The Mayor is hereby authorized to sign the contract with Prestige Properties, Inc.
