A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES CONTRACT WITH THOMAS C. STOWE FOR REAL PROPERTY
APPRAISAL SERVICES.
The Mayor has now signed the State Revolving Fund Loan Agreement, as
previously approved by Council; and
It is necessary for the City now to proceed to have certain real
property appraised in furtherance of the terms and conditions of
said loan agreement; and
The City does not currently have the ability to do this work with
existing staff; and
The Public Works Department has solicited and received proposals
from three appraisers on the City's professional services roster;
and
Thomas C. Stowe has been recommended by the Public Works Department
as the individual best qualified to perform the appraisals needed by
the City,
N 0 W T H E R E F 0 R E
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND that it
authorizes the Mayor to sign a professional services contract with Thomas C.
Stowe for the appraisal of certain real property in furtherance of the terms and
conditions of the State Revolving Loan Fund Agreement, in substantially the form
attached hereto.
