A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN
AMENDMENT TO THE LICENSE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
AND MAIN STREET FOR THE OPERATION OF THE FARMER'S
MARKET WHICH WOULD ALLOW THE MARKET TO OPERATE
UNTIL 1:00 P.M. ON SATURDAYS RATHER THAN ONLY UNTIL
12:00 NOON.
WHEREAS, Main Street has requested that the City Council consider extending the
hours of allowed operation for the Farmer's Market on Saturdays to extend one hour into the
afternoon, and
WHEREAS, the City Council feels that the request is reasonable and the existing
agreement should be amended to allow the extended hours; Now, Therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF PORT
TOWNSEND:
That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute an amendment to the license Agreement
between the City and Main Street regarding operation of the Farmer's Market to allow its hours
of operation to extend one hour into the afternoon on Saturday.
