A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT
TOWNSEND DECLARING CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT COMPANY
TO BE THE LOWEST, RESPONSIVE, RESPONSIBLE BIDDER FOR THE
COMPOST SCREEN AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A
CONTRACT AWARDING THE BID TO CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT
COMPANY OF LAKE OSWEGO, OREGON.
WHEREAS, The Biosolids Compost Facility is complete and will be fully operational soon,
and the facility will require acquisition of a compost screen to make the facility
operational; and
WHEREAS, The City has advertised and received bids for the supply and delivery of a
compost screen; and
WHEREAS, Bids were received in a fair and timely fashion, in accordance with City and State
bidding laws; and
WHEREAS, 'The City has found Construction Equipment Company to be the lowest,
responsive, responsible bidder.
BE IT

NOW THEREFORE
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend as follows:
The bid submitted by Construction Equipment Company of Oregon is hereby accepted
and declared to be the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder.
The Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Construction Equipment
Company.
Payment to Construction Equipment Company is conditional upon completing the
requirements in the specification.
