A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT
TOWNSEND AUTHORIZING JULIE MCCULLOCH TO VOTE IN SUPPORT
OF THE DRAFT PLAN OF THE DUNGENESS/QUILCENE PILOT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City has participated in the Dungeness/Quilcene Pilot Project since 'Spring of
1991, and
WHEREAS, the City has been actively involved in the project and has provided substantial input
into the Plan, and
WHEREAS, the Plan makes recommendations related to many water concerns including instream
flow, habitat, groundwater, water storage, date development, conservation, fish hatchery
operation, and
WHEREAS, the Plan will provide an overview direction for the Coordinated Water System Plan
and the City's Water Comprehensive Plan, and
WHEREAS, the Plan provides for a progressive approach to dealing with water,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the C~
