A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT
TOWNSEND DECLARING GENERAL CONSTRUCTION COMPANY TO
BE THE LOWEST RESPONSIVE RESPONSIBLE BIDDER FOR
IMMEDIATE IMPROVEMENTS TO THE CITY DOCK WAVE BOARD.
WHEREAS,
the wave board structure of City Dock needs urgent attention and reinforcement
to prevent possible collapse and serious damage to people, boats using the dock,
or the dock itself and funds may be available for this work through the IAC City
Dock Grant; and
WHEREAS,
the City has established a small works roster from which prospective contractors
may be asked for bids for such work in accordance with City and State bidding
laws; and
WHEREAS, the City has found General Construction Company to be the lowest responsive
responsible bidder,
NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend that the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign a contract for marine construction repair work to the Wave Board of City Dock
for an amount not to exceed $12,250.00 including tax.
