A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT
TOWNSEND DECLARING WEST END ENTERPRISES TO BE THE
LOWEST, RESPONSIVE, RESPONSIBLE BIDDER FOR HAZARD TREE
REMOVAL AT CITY LAKE AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
SIGN A CONTRACT AWARDING THE BID TO WEST END
ENTERPRISES OF JOYCE, WASHINGTON.
WHEREAS, The City has determined an emergency situation exists with hazard trees at City
Lake; and
WHEREAS, The City has received two bids for hazard tree removal at City Lake; and
WHEREAS, The City has found West End Enterprises to be the lowest, responsive, responsible
bidder; and
N O W T H E R E F O R E
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend as follows:
SECTION 1:
The bid submitted by West End Enterprises for the hazard tree removal at city Lake is hereby
accepted and West End Enterprises is declared to be the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder
on the project.
SECTION 2:
The contract for hazard tree removal is hereby awarded to West End Enterprises in the amount
of $6,800.00 to West End Enterprises' signature of the contract, posting of an insurance certificate
and all other documentation required by the contract documents and by law.
SECTION 3:
The Mayor is hereby authorized to sign the contract with West End Enterprises.
