RESOLUTION AUTHORLZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF PORT
TOWNSEND TO SIGN AN AGREEMENT WITH KEITH HARPER TO
PROVIDE 1995 CITY MISDEMEANOR PROSECUTION SERVICES
WHEREAS, as of January 1, 1995, the City's misdemeanor prosecution arrangement
with Jefferson County will expire; and
WHEREAS, Attorney Keith Harper has expressed his willingness to engage in
prosecuting the City's misdemeanor violations in District Court; and
WHEREAS, Attorney Keith Harper is experienced in misdemeanor prosecution matters
and is prepared to render this service for compensation in an amount competitive with the prior
County service;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council for the City of Port
Townsend that the Mayor is hereby authorized Agreement for Prosecuting
Attorney Services with Keith Harper in sub,, form as the attached.
