RESOLUTION 95- 02.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT
TOWNSEND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A CONTRACT
AWARDING THE BID FOR CHLORINE GAS AND FOR SODIUM
HYPOCHLORITE TO BE USED BY THE WATER QUALITY
DEPARTMENT AND THE W ASTEW A TER TREATMENT DEPARTMENT
FOR 1995 TO JONES CHEMICAL.
WHEREAS, The City of Port Townsend requires necessary services and products for the year
1995; and
WHEREAS, The City's current contract for these products and services expired December 31,
1994; and
WHEREAS, The City has advertised for bids for these products in a fair and timely manner
and has found Jones Chemical to be the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder,
NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Port Townsend does hereby request the
Mayor to sign a contract agreement with Jones Chemical for chlorine gas and for sodium
hypochlorite for 1995.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsen
