RESOLUTION 95-J2:l .
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT
TOWNSEND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN CONTRACTS
WITH CH2M HILL FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES.
WHEREAS, The City negotiated a contract with CH2M HILL for engineering services for the
following projects: GIS, Stonnwater, and Miscellaneous Services; and
WHEREAS, The City has monies available within the 1995 CIP and budget for these projects
and has confonned with the standards of the law by establishing a roster of
qualified consultants; and
WHEREAS, The City has investigated the qualifications of CH2M HILL and finds that they
are qualified to perfonn the services required, and has found their past services
to the City to be satisfactory and has negotiated this proposed contract; and
WHEREAS, The City does not have the staff available for these services, and because such
services are not needed on an ongoing basis, it makes sense for the City to
"privatize" these work efforts,
NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend that it authorizes the
Mayor to sign three contracts with CH2M HILL for GIS, Stonnwater, and Miscellaneous
Services.
