RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT
TOWNSEND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO BID THE REPAIR OF
THE LITTLE QUILCENE MUNICIPAL WATER DIVERSION.
The Little Quilcene River diversion was damaged by flooding in December of
1993, and the temporary repairs are not suitable for long term operation; and
The City has determined that the Little Quilcene River is a necessary source of
water for the community; and
Funds for the repair are available from the City and Paper Mill pipeline
replacement fund; and,
the City desires to bid for this equipment in a fair and timely fashion, in
accordance with State and local bidding regulations;
NOW THEREFORE
Be it resolved that the City Council of the City of Port Townsend does hereby authorize the
Mayor to bid for the repair of the Little Quilcene River municipal water diversion.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend and signed by the Mayor this 15th
day of May, 1995.
