A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PORT TOWNSEND FIXING THE TIME FOR HEARING
ON A PETITION FOR A STREET VACATION
BE IT RESOLVED, THAT:
The Port Townsend City Council shall conduct a public hearing on Street Vacation
Application No. 9504-03. The proposal, if approved, would vacate:
1) that portion of platted and perscriptive right-of-way of Washington Street lying
between the westerly line of Benedict Street and the westerly line of JefferSOn County
Assessor's Tax Parcel #001104013;
2) that portion of Water Street between the westerly line of vacated Benedict Street
and the westerly line of Jefferson County Assessor's Tax Parcel//001104013;
3) that portion of Front Street between the easterly line of Benedict Street and the
westerly boundary of Jefferson County Assessor's Tax Parcel #001104013;
4) that portion of SanJuan lying between the southerly line of Jefferson Street to the
Inner Harbor line, all in Sections 10 & 11, T30N, RiW, partially lying under water:
AND
5) that portion of Benedict Street lying between the southerly border of vacated
Benedict Street and the northerly line of Front Street;
6) that portion of Prosper Street lying between the southerly line of Washington Street
and the northerly line of Front Street;
7) that portion of Belle Street lying between the southerly line of Washington Street to
the northerly line of Front Street;
8) that portion of Hastings Street lying between the southerly line of Washington Street
and the northerly line of Front Street; all in Section 11, T30N, RlW, all lying under
water;
AND
9) the alley located in Block 17 lying between lots 1 & 4 inclusive and lots 27 through
32 inclusive all in the Eisenbeis Addition to the City of Port Townsend (Section 10,
T30N, R1W) as per Plat recorded in Vol. 2 of Plats page 24, records of Jefferson
County.
The hearing will be conducted at or about 7:00 PM on Monday, July 3, 1995, in the
Council Chambers of City Hall, 540 Water Street, Port Townsend, Washington.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend and approved by the Mayor
this 5 day of June, 1995.
