A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A
CONSULTANT AGREEMENT WITH GREEN SOLUTIONS FOR
PREPARATION OF A WASTE REDUCTION AND RECYCLING PLAN.
WHEREAS, the City and the Consultant are desirous of emering imo an Agreement to formalize
their relationship; and
WHEREAS,
WHEREAS,
it would be beneficial to the City to utilize the Consultam to accomplish the City's
objectives and goals to prepare a Waste Reduction and Recycling Plan; and
the City does not have Sufficient staff or expertise to conduct such services itself;
and
WHEREAS, the City has investigated the qualificatiOns of the Consultant and has found that the
Consultant is qualified to perform the services required;
NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend that it authorizes the
Mayor to sign an agreement with Green Solutions for preparation of a Waste Reduction and
Recycling Plan and other services as required.
