A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT
TOWNSEND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A CONTRACT
WITH TELECOM MANAGEMENT CONCEPTS FOR CONSULTING
SERVICES TO UPGRADE THE EXISTING TELEPHONE SYSTEM
FOR THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC
WORKS.
WHEREAS, the City and the Consultant are desirous of entering into an Agreement to
formalize their relationship, and
WHEREAS,
it would be beneficial to the City to utilize the Consultant as an indepentant
entity to accomplish the City's objectives and goals the Department of Public
Works' telecommunications system; and
WHEREAS, the City does not have sufficient staff of'expertise to conduct such services
itself; and
WHEREAS, the City has investigated the qualifications of the Consultant and finds that the
Consultant is qualified to perform the services required;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend
that it authorizes the Mayor to sign a Professional Services Agreement between the city of Port
Townsend and Telecom Management Concepts in substantially the same form as attached.
