A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PORT TOWNSEND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
SIGN PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT (PSA6)
FOR DESIGN AND OTHER SERVICES FOR THE WATER
PIPELINE TO THE TRANSFER STATION AND THE
LITTLE QUILCENE DAM PROJECTS.
a supply of water for fire flow is needed to the Compost facility and transfer
station; and
a new water pipeline is the most cost effective method of supplying fn'e flow;
and
the pipeline needs to be designed prior to construction; and
the Little Quilcene Dam diversion needs to be redesigned and reconstructed;
and
the City does not have sufficient staff to conduct such services itself, and
the City has investigated the qualifications of CH2M Hill to perform such
design services and has found CH2M Hill to be qualified to do so; and
sufficient capital improvement budget monies are available for these projects,
NOW THEREFORE
Be it resolved that the City Council of the City of Port Townsend does hereby authorize the
Mayor to sign Professional Services Agreement (PSA6) with CH2M Hill for design and other
services for the water pipeline to the transfer station and the Little Quilcene Dam projects.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend and signed by the Mayor this 17th
day of July, 1995.
