A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT
TOWNSEND AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT CHANGING THE
EXPIRATION DATE OF A GENERAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
ORIGINALLY AUTHORIZED BY RESOLUTION 94-129 WITH POLARIS
ENGINEERING AND SURVEYING, INC. TO FEBRUARY 29, 1996.
WHEREAS,
Polaris engineering & Surveying, Inc., is a consultant selected to perform general
services including surveying and civil engineenng tasks that was authorized in
Resolution 94-129; and
WHEREAS, The consultant has been providing satisfactory service and, of $45,000 in the
original contract, a balance of $18,473.75 remains; and
WHEREAS,
The City antigipates additional needs for services th'rough the beginning of 1996
whereupon it is anticipated that all professional service contracts will be
renegotiated; and
WHEREAS, Due to limited resources of City Staff, the Consultant offers services and staff that
the City cannot otherwise provide,
NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port To,emsend that the Mayor is
authorized to sign an Agreement Amendment of the General Services Agreement authorized by
Resolution 94-129 with.Polaris Surveying and Engineering, Inc. to change the contract expiration
date from February 1, 1995 to February 29, 1996.
