A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT
WITH POLARIS ENGINEERING AND SURVEYING TO PROVIDE TOPOGRAPHIC
SURVEYING SERVICES FOR SHERIDAN STREET AND DISCOVERY ROAD.
WHEREAS, the City and the Consultant are desirous of entering into an Agreement to
formalize their relationship, and
WHEREAS, the City is in need of topographic surveying services for Sherdian Street from
19th to Hastings Avenue and Discovery Road between Sheridan and Hendricks; and
WHEREAS, the City does not have sufficiem staff or expertise to conduct such services
itself; and
WttEREAS, the Ci~ has investigated the qualifications of the Consultant and f'mds that the
Consultant is qualified to perform the services required;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend that it
authorizes the Mayor to sign a Professional Services Agreement with Polaris Engineering and
Surveying in substantially the same form as attached.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend and signed by the Mayor this 6th day of
November, 1995.
