A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT WITH
TILLMAN ENGINEERING INC. TO DESIGN A STORMWATER SITE PLAN, EROSION
AND SEDIMENT CONTROL PLAN, AND A STREET AND UTILITY PLAN AND
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR 35TH STREET PARK.
WHEREAS, the City and the Consultant are desirous of entering into an Agreement to
formalize their relationship, and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the City to utilize the Consultant as an independent
entity to accomplish the City's objectives and goals to design a Stormwater Site Plan, Temporary and
Permanent Erosion and Sediment Control Plan, and a Street Utility and Plan and Technical
Specifications for 35th Street Park; and
WHEREAS, the City does not have sufficient staff or expertise to conduct such services
itself; and
WHEREAS, the City has investigated the qualifications of the Consultant and finds that the
Consultant is qualified to perform the services required; and
WHEREAS, the Consultant was selected from the Professional Services Roster in accordance
with Chapter 39.80 of the RCW;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend that it
authorizes the Mayor to sign a Professional Services Agreement with Tillman Engineering Inc. in
substantially the same form as attached at such time as the Consultant provides the required Professional
Liability Insurance.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend and signed by the Mayor this 6th day of
November, 1995.
