WHEREAS,
A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend authorizing a call for bids for sodium hypochlofide and
liquid chlorine products.
the City of Port Townsend requires sodium hypochlofide and liquid chlorine
products for use in its wastewater treatment operations during 1996; and
the city's current contracts for these products expire on December 31, 1995;
and
it is necessary and desirable to obtain these products through a fair and timely
competitive bidding process pursuant to Washington State Law; Now,
Therefore,
Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend that the Mayor is hereby
authorized to call for bids for sodium hypochloride and liquid chlorine products.
